The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club focuses on bridging the gap for entrepreneurs in the MBA program by building connections between students, industries and ground-breaking ideas. We aim to support MBA students launch start ups and tap into the start-up network in Vancouver and beyond.
Co-President: Max MacKellar
Max is an entrepreneur, who started Free To Move wellness in 2019. Free To Move is a digital fitness platform focused on serving the LGBTQ+ community as well as those managing chronic illness and pain. Previously, Max worked in the real estate development sector as a project manager and urban planner. They are passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation and diversity. Max is an avid cyclists, enjoying the mountain bike trails of North Vancouver and travelling the world by bicycle. He recently completed a 1,400km solo bike tour around Japan!
Co-President: Kokulan Pushparajah
Kokulan is a business analyst turned marketer with nearly a decade of experience managing global and regional consumer-packaged goods brands across the Middle East, Africa, Central, and South Asia. He enjoys thought-provoking conversations about ideas that improve human lives. Kokulan is passionate about leveraging consumer insights and aligning them with internal capabilities, Kokulan has helped organizations identify growth opportunities and successfully launched over 15 products in diverse markets.
Outside his corporate career, Kokulan is a start-up investor with a focus on innovative ventures in the food and beverage industry.
