The UBC MBA Beer Club aims to bring students together to make connections with each other and the city of Vancouver. We believe that much of the city's culture can be experienced through the beer scene, and there is no better way to explore it than with fellow MBA students. Come ready to enjoy lots of laughs and make meaningful connections!
While we are the Beer Club, consuming beer or alcohol of any kind is not mandatory to participate in our events. We also take responsible consumption very seriously.
Events: During each period, we aim to (co-)host several events, including: Brewery Crawls, Trivia Nights, a Canucks Hockey Game, and so much more! While we would love everyone to attend, these events have limited capacity and an RSVP is necessary.

A self-proclaimed 'domestic nomad', Nicole has spent much of her adult life living in and visiting various cities across Canada. She has literally travelled from coast to coast (to coast, that's right, she's even been to the Arctic Ocean in NWT!), all the while amazed by the diversity of experiences offered. One constant however, was the way local breweries reflected the local history and culture. A new resident to Vancouver, Nicole is excited to explore the city with her classmates through the beer scene to experience what makes Vancouverites tick.
She never shies away from funky flavours, and enjoys everything from a fruity sour to a rich porter. She's always excited to meet new people and learn about what lights their fire, and would love to share a pint and a conversation!
